How it works

Every booking link and widget here goes to GetYourGuide, which handles the payment, the confirmation and the cancellation. Our partner code is attached to the link so the sale is attributed to us, which usually means a cookie is set in your browser. Nothing is added to your price, and no part of the commission comes out of the operator’s payment to the people running the tour.

What it does not change

We do not sell placement, we do not run sponsored posts, and no operator has ever paid us to be described a certain way. The tours here are judged on price, length, meeting point, what the ticket covers and what the listing says the tour is not suitable for. That is why our reviews spend as much space on restrictions and on weather risk as on what is good, and why we tell people that the most-booked tour is rated 4.6 rather than rounding it up. A recommendation that sends someone on the wrong tour earns nothing twice.

Prices

Prices on this site are in euros and were correct when we checked the listings. They change, so the figure in the booking widget is the one that counts. Our cost page explains what is inside each price and what you may still pay at Obersalzberg.
